Sports Grounds
The Bury, which is situated at the southern entrance to the town was originally part of the Sainbury distribution depot. It houses a large clubroom, changing and shower facilities and a dedicated floodlit football pitch. This is now the home for Buntingford Town and Buntingford Cougars Youth football clubs. These are well supported clubs with a number of teams. The Cougars also have a dedicated ground opposite which has limited facilities and is used for youth football.
Buntingford Cricket Club utilises the Norfolk Road Recreation Ground and its Pavilion. The area also supports two football pitches and a floodlit Multi-games facility.
The two football pitches at the Seth Ward Community Centre are used by Buntingford Wanderers and the Cougars Youth teams.
