Community Grants
Minchinhampton Parish Councillors are trustees of the A. E. Pash legacy. This charitable trust fund was set up from the estate of a former resident of Minchinhampton, Albert Edward Pash.
It began on the date of his death, which was October 8th, 1973, and will continue for 47 years, which was Mr Pash's age when he died. The final distribution of income will therefore take place in 2021.
However, until then, interest from his invested legacy is allocated annually, usually in April. A minimum of 25 per cent is given to hospital research, irrespective of location. While a maximum of 75 per cent is available for charitable purposes within the parish of Minchinhampton.
Applications to the A. E. Pash Trust Fund can be made in writing by individuals or groups, fulfilling the above criteria, to The Clerk to the A. E. Pash Trustees c/o The Trap House, West End, Minchinhampton, Stroud, GL6 9JA.
