Alastair grew up in Worcester and after University in Reading qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in London. After a few years living and working in Hampshire, work brought him to Gloucestershire ten years ago and he has lived in Burleigh ever since.
Alastair hopes to help the Parish Council encourage a sense of community and is keen to improve communication throughout the parish, especially involving the outlying villages. His other particular interests are in the commons and environmental matters.
